Julie Varian, Controller
Julie Varian’s role at JVA is our head bean counter, handling all aspects of accounting for our firm. Julie works diligently at financial planning, cash flow management, ensuring compliance, analyzing financial data, forecasting revenue, and monitoring expenditures, all while streamlining the entire process. Our vendors love her for her speedy response time with payments.
Prior to coming to JVA, Julie was a licensed insurance agent at Bremer Insurance, providing specialist service support in accordance with state insurance regulations for multi-peril crop lines of insurance in North Dakota and Minnesota. While there, Julie was the recipient of several awards, including The Best of Bremer.
Julie has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota. She is a longtime advocate of children in need; she and her family have welcomed over fifteen foster children into their home.
